Toy Terminators

So you might have been thinking why do those two need so many new things in their Easter basket and this is why. Yesterday I cleaned out the toy box and it ended up looking like a toy graveyard and only half of their toys have survived the spring cleaning monster that is me. These are only the ones beyond repair I have a couple that are high up on the shelf waiting for me to fix them. We now only buy the most durable or very cheapest of toys because those are somehow the ones that survive. Are all Scotties this destructive or just these two?

  1. I think all Scotties are like that! We don't buy any plush toys because within minutes they are destroyed. We do have a few skineez toys that can be played with even with holes (squeakers are long gone), all the others are from planet dog.

  4. Oh, I used to do that to all my toys but when I got older, I learned to play with and take very good care of my toys and squeak then to death and chew on the chewy stuff ones. Now..I just have a new sister of about a month now, an AMerican bulldog named Addy and well...at first she like to play with my toys too like me and then she turned into this maniac. She has destroyed almost all my toys and destuffed them, so I am waiting on new ones. I did get some fur my birthday and she chewed them all up!! *sigh*

  5. We don't chew up toys......probably because Bella buries them! We're still looking for that last one.

  6. I'm still amazed that our Pippi prefers the Pink freebie dog over her other toys.

  8. In a word, "yes"; I terminate my stuffed toys, too.

The Rocky Creek Scotties sent me over to introduce myself!

And, for the record, anybody who'd have their Scotties in their wedding IS ALRIGHT WITH US!! ArrOOOOOO!

  9. This makes me smile because Darcy is quite the toy destroyer herself. Back in the puppyhood stage, she even ate my cell phone when I left the room for a few minutes! (I'm so glad the days of teething are behind us!)
It's so nice to meet you and your little family. :) I love that the Scotties were in your wedding! Precious!
    Blessings,
    Miranda (and Darcy!)
