  1. Amanda,
We did have trouble finding a good breeder. There are none in our state and in many of the surrounding states all of the scottie breeders are puppy mills with SEVERAL different breeds being sold. I finally found a breeder in a neighboring state that we believe to be a good choice, and it is also within driving distance so we will be able to pick up our puppy and actually see the place and everything. So that was a very happy moment!

I had no idea that several breeders were also bloggers! That is VERY good to know for the future because a couple of years after we get our first scottie (which will be black or brindle) we would like to purchase a wheaten scottie. (Haha! Yep we've already talked about it!) Those are even harder to find from what I can tell. I have seen some Southern breeders on Scottish Terrier News with wheaten scotties though. Where did you get your little wheaten man?

I love making contacts like this through blogging! Thanks for commenting back on my blog. I love reading about all of you and your pups' adventures!
